Written and directed by Carmen Losa, (Camas, 1959), the play “Levante”, winner of the II International Contest Leopoldo Alas Mínguez (LAM Award) for LGTBIQ+ texts of the SGAE Foundation and the Visible Cultural Association in 2008, will premiere on May 19.

“This work arises from the memory I have of my mother sewing in the afternoon, with the sun coming through the window and the threads suspended in the beam of light,” Losa explains Wednesday in a press release.
