Las Naves were presented as a space open to reflection and experimentation for all the most avant-garde proposals, taking into account its configurable spaces. For the choice of these warehouses and their adaptation as a stage space, the Madrid City Council had the collaboration of Jean-Guy Lecat, French set designer known worldwide for his amazing productions for directors such as Peter Brook, Jorge Lavelli or Darío Fo, among others.

Based on the autobiographical book by journalist Lydia Cacho Memorias de una infamia, which portrays the kidnapping she suffered and the modus operandi of a government complicit in corruption and violence.

The Naves Matadero complex consists of a Café-Theater designed by theater designer Jean Guy Lecat, plus two large stage spaces and a series of rehearsal rooms, classrooms and workshops. The halls form a highly flexible ensemble that allows the autonomous operation of three interconnected spaces.

Warehouses 10, 11 and 12 of Naves Matadero. Warehouse 11 (seating capacity 634 spectators); Warehouse 10 (seating capacity 360 spectators and rehearsal rooms for workshops, residencies, etc.); and Warehouse 12 (foyer or lobby of the entire stage complex, with a reception area, cafeteria and space for small-capacity presentations).

Hall 10 was inaugurated in September 2010 and houses a large exhibition space, two splendid rehearsal rooms and the Max Aub Hall, a multipurpose stage space with a capacity for more than 300 seats.
