Next Friday, September 25, will be the start of the season at the Ideal Theater in Calahorra, with a program that combines professional theater, amateur and musical theater, family theater, literary encounters and a high quality musical proposal.

On Sunday, September 26 (8:00 p.m.), María Antonia San Felipe will present in Calahorra her first novel entitled ‘Desnuda de mi ser’, which the Riojan publishing house Pepitas de Calabaza will publish in the near future. The novel is about Ana de la Trinidad (1577-1613), a mystic poet who lived in the Carmelite convent of Calahorra. In addition to meeting Ana de la Trinidad, the author of the novel will explain how this literary challenge has been and will reveal the details of this fictional story.

Since the presentation will take the form of a literary meeting, both texts from the novel and poems by Ana de la Trinidad will be read by the journalist Esther Pascual. Alejandro López Tejedor and Rafael Gutiérrez will interpret, in a magnificent musical adaptation, several poems by this poet from La Rioja.
