The Teatro Leal is a building located in Obispo Rey Redondo street in the city of San Cristóbal de La Laguna (Tenerife, Canary Islands). It was built by order of Antonio Leal in 1915, with plans by the architect Antonio Pintor.
It is a building of clearly eclectic style. Its facade is characterized by the profusion of floral elements, animals and characters, all of them made by López Ruiz. Inside, the mural and ceiling paintings by López Ruiz and Manuel Verdugo stand out.

Fue construido por Antonio Leal Martín y diseñado por el arquitecto Antonio Pintor. Se inauguró en septiembre de 1915 y fue uno de los primeros recintos en satisfacer las necesidades de la sociedad de finales del siglo XIX que demandaba eventos culturales. Acogió todo tipo de comedias musicales, grandes óperas y juegos florales; también se organizaron eventos y fiestas populares, democratizando y acercando la cultura al pueblo. Aquí tuvieron lugar las primeras grandes proyecciones de cine, principalmente de la mano del cineasta y empresario José González Rivero y de Juan de la Cruz Martín. Esta actividad se prolongó hasta los años 60.
El edificio tiene tres plantas en la fachada y cuatro en la parte posterior. El exterior es simétrico y ecléctico con elementos modernistas, como las ménsulas en forma de mascarones, elementos vegetales en los balaustres, los capiteles y los frisos. Los medallones que representan a Lope de Vega y Calderón de la Barca se añadieron en 1931-32. Su interior es bastante impresionante y el suelo del patio de butacas puede pasar de estar inclinado a ser totalmente plano, lo que permitía celebrar bailes en él. Pero las pinturas murales que rodean el patio de butacas son su característica más atractiva e incluyen paisajes marítimos y costeros de ambiente romántico. El techo está pintado con una escena celestial combinada con una escena costumbrista. Todas ellas son obra del pintor Manuel López Ruiz.
