The movie classic “Dirty Dancing” is now coming to the theater. The plot remains the same: the beautiful story of love, complicity and trust between innocent Baby and Johnny, starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.

One of the most successful contemporary shows arrives in our country after exceeding all expectations with its international tour. The best of the 80’s returns with Dirty Dancing and, starting in December, you can experience it at the Teatro Nuevo Alcalá in Madrid.

If you still enjoy watching this movie, you can’t miss this theatrical adaptation that will take place from December 1 to February 5 at the Nuevo Alcalá Theater (Calle Jorge Juan 62). With 2 hours and 15 minutes of duration, you will dance and sing songs like The Time of my Life, Hungry Eyes or Do you love me? with live performances by great artists.

You will relive all the sensations of the movie and you will enjoy again as never before one of the most mythical classics of the 80s. Ticket prices range from 20€ to 60€, depending on the location of the seat. Tickets can be purchased here.

After a lot of searching in the different websites to buy tickets for Dirty Dancing, I decided to go to the theater’s own website. Not that it’s easier than the others, but I thought the layout in the theater would be more similar… I took two tickets in the stalls in row 15, in the aisle. It looks perfect from here, we didn’t miss a single detail!

El amor está en el aire teatro

Warning: if you are foodies, in the theater they only sell popcorn and mini Pringles cans to eat plus some chocolate … I recommend you go with dinner. The bad thing is that before 20.30 is too early for dinner, so almost better a snack before entering (or Pringles, hahaha). They also sell soft drinks and even a drink or two, I think I remember… The prices… well, you know, everything is expensive as in any theater, cinema, etc…
