When the Second Republic was declared, it changed its name to “Victoria”. After the Spanish Civil War, it returned to its original name, Reina Victoria, which this year celebrates its first centenary.
During the post-war theater, the evasive, humorous and sentimental comedy was promoted, highlighting on stage the traditional values of the political moment that was being lived.
